1962 Press Photo Cuban Refugee Youngster Carried off Mercy Ship in Florida

Miami, Florida, December 27 - First ashore - a small child is carried down the gangplank of the freighter Africa Pilot after it docked in Port Everglades, Florida today. It was the first of nearly a thousand Cuban refugees.
