1958 Press Photo Giant Laughing Kingfishers Fight over Dinner at Bronx Zoo

Bill fight Bronx, New York: There's nothing happy about the giant laughing kingfishers, who're stretching their dinner with a grim tug-o-war at New York's Bronx Zoo. Known as "Kooka Burra" in their native Australia, the big birds seem to be engaged in a three-way fight, but the one in the center has his own food supply and appears to be waiting to take on the winner.
