1970 Press Photo Trusty Pro charges to win Thanksgiving Handicap at Fair Grounds

Trusty Pro, far left, a 4-year-old son of Semi-Pro-Deeptrust, is shown here charging down the stretch on the outside to pass the tiring but courageous Cangirod in yesterday's $10,000 Thanksgiving Handicap at the Fair Grounds opened its 98th season of racing. It was the fifth consecutive victory for Trusty Pro.
