1973 Press Photo James Blackwood Sr. Accepts Dove Award with Blackwood Singers

The coveted Dove Award is held by James Blackwood Sr., leader of the famous Blackwood gospel singing family, after it was presented to the group Monday night as best male gospel group of the year. Thirteen other awards also were handed out at the annual show held at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee.
