1959 Press Photo Albert Navez-Newton High School acclaimed science teacher

Dr. Albert Novez, 59, a native of Belgium, whose students at Newton High School here placed first and second in the United States in a national science talent search, works problem out on classroom blackboard today. Two students of Dr. Navez--Reinier Beeuwkes III, 17, and Dushan Mitrovich, 18, won top awards in the Westinghouse talent search bestowed last night in Washington. They topped a field of more than 25,000 competitors.
