1972 Press Photo India's Guru Maharaj Ji threads through followers in London

A religious movement headed by Guru Maharaj Ji, who claims to be 14-years-old and who is India's latest spiritual export to the West, is being investigated by the Indian government, authoritative sources said Monday in New Delhi. The Guru is shown wearing garlands of flowers as he threads his way between followers at London's Heathrow Airport recently. The Guru paid a visit to New Orleans earlier this year.
