Shirley Kerwin, wife of Skylab science pilot Dr. Joseph P. Kerwin, watches as daughters, left to right, Kristina, 5, Joanna, 7, and Sharon, 9, takes a cooling dip in their pool today. The Skylab crew of Kerwin, Charles "Pete" Conrad, and Paul J. Weitz were entering their crippled orbiting workshop with its 128 degree heat. The three Astronauts hope to deploy a parasol that would provide cooling shade.
