1960 Press Photo Nikita Khrushchev and Gromyko leave delegation to waiting car

Nikita Khrushchev and his top deputy Andrei Gromyko, went through this Alphonse and Gaston routine as they left the Soviet delegation headquarters in New York today after lunch to return to the United Nations general assembly session. Gromyko was deferring to his boss on the way to their waiting car.
