1962 Press Photo Ghana health worker distributes cooking method handbills

A simple handbill on diets is distributing by a health worker in a village in Ghana after a demonstration of new cooking methods. The handbill is given to literate housewives and to mass education assistants who lecture in villages. It is part of a Good Food for Good Health campaign in which United Nations experts are collaborating with the Ghana government, in one of the U.N.'s fast-growing social and economic programs.
