Leaving Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital Wednesday after throat surgery, Senator George Murphy, Republican, replies in writing as a newsman asked him how he felt. The 62-year-old former actor plans to recuperate at home for 10 days before returning to Washington. Doctors removed a malignant tumor and said the surgery appeared successful.
