1968 Press Photo New Orleans Police Cadets receive March of Dimes Fund Cans

A dozen police cadets armed with collection cans today staked out two Canal street booths seeking funds to help arrest birth defects and launch the 1968 March of Dimes campaign. Aiming for a goal of $130,000, the campaign opened in front of 923 Canal street and at another booth at Canal at Baronne.
