1967 Press Photo Traffic bottleneck solved when the Seabrook bridge opens.

A longtime traffic bottleneck will be solved when the new Seabrook bridge spanning the Industrial Canal on the lakefront is opened in early April. The four-lane span costs about $4.4 million. Upper left of the photograph shows the New Orleans Lakefront Airport, administered by the Orleans Levee Board, which is also administering the bridge construction.
