Juan T. Trippe, 68, dean of airline executives in the United States and abroad, has retired as Chairman and Chief Executive of Pan World Airways. Mr. Trippe announced his retirement at the Company's Annual Meeting in New York. Following the meeting the Board of Directors elected Harold E. Gray as Chairman and Chief Executive.
