City workmen spread sand over grease that was accidentally spilled on Gentilly boulevard Friday by an Alabama truck that was carrying 30,000 pounds of fats to a feed mill at Avondale. Gentilly Highway Back to Normal. City Spreads Sand Over 55 Greased Blocks. Gentilly boulevard was open to normal traffic again Friday afternoon after 55 blocks of Television street had been blockaded earlier in the day.
