1961 Press Photo Louis Fernandez & others cut ribbon for import auto dealership

Victor H. Schiro, city councilman, snips the ribbon opening the city's newest import automobile dealership, Sports Cars, inc., 840 St. Charles. At left is Alastair G. Maitland, British consul general in New Orleans and at right is Louis J. Fernandez, president of the company. The dealership will handle Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Jaguar, Austin-Healey, Magnette, Morris, M.G. and Sprite.
