1949 Press Photo Explosion at Dallas Texas Federal Housing Apartment Building

Fourteen persons were injured, one seriously. Shown is a fireman starting through a hole in the fallen roof, while two interns and other firemen wait their turn. The two-story unit exploded - causing the building to buckle and the roof to fall down.
