Lisbon, Portugal - Herbert Claiborne Tell (center without hat), United States Minister to Lisbon, greeting passengers and crew members the Yankee Clipper as they landed at the Lisbon Air Base recently, when the huge Pan American flying boat completed the second lap of its shake down flight to Europe. The flight from Horta, the Azores, a distance of 1,057 miles, was completed in 7 hours and 40 minutes.
