1939 Press Photo Miner John Nbrans Shot to Death In Clash Between Unions

The clash was between union and non-union miners at the Reitler Mine at Otsego. The Tipple George Reitler (above left) was taken into custody for questioning. His brother, Chris, (R), was slugged during the melee.
