1962 Press Photo Cotton Waiting to Be Processed at the Kennett Company Gin

Trailer after trailer of newly picked cotton sits outside the Kennett Company gin, waiting to be processed. Most are made of wire because they are cheaper to construct and have no air pocked in the bottom to reduce the load. The gins are close to the fields.
