Louisville, Kentucky - Mrs. Ruth Ann Newton, 40, above, was charged today with killing her husband John F. Newton, 50. According to police, Mrs. Newton blasted her husband with a shotgun outside their tavern, Ye Olde Friendly Inn, early this morning as he was preparing to take home a waitress, Mrs. Mildred Lee Woolum. Mrs. Newton called to her husband and told him to pray before she shot him.
